Occupational Therapy Service 

WellNestedOT Fidelma Woods provides an occupational therapy service to children from birth to thirteen years, supporting both the child and family.

As an occupational therapist with extensive experience Fidelma provides comprehensive assessment and intervention to support a child’s potential in the environments they spend time in with a prime focus on a connection first approach.

  • Clinical Services

    WellNestedOT offers comprehensive assessment and intervention services for children from birth to 13 years old with a range of developmental differences. Focusing on children’s strengths and connection to support regulation and meaningful participation.

    Selfcare Activities

    Supporting routine development leading out on a child’s sensory preferences with dressing, feeding, toileting, bathing and grooming.

    Leisure Activities

    What is motivating and meaningful for your child and using this to support participation in play and leisure across environments

    Early Education and School

    Supporting and educating on connection first with caregivers/teachers. Collaborating for reasonable adjustments within environments for a child to readily reach their potential in their preschool and school environments.

    Sensory Preferences

    Identify your child’s sensory profile to determine their preferences and differences to support their Energy Regulation and to support their participation in everyday activities. A regulation first approach across all environments and included in all activities.

  • Group Intevention

    WellNestedOT specialises in designing and facilitating small personalised groups with a maximum of five participants.

    By offering groups throughout the year we aim to support children by creating a supportive environment that enhances self-esteem and connections with a focus on specific activites to support regulation and development.
